STACKING UP SOME FINISHES - MY GOALS

3QTR Finishes are kicking off and yup I'm in!
Here are my stack of goals.

I am knocking out my 2014 Stash Bustin' projects.
I did NOT buy fabric (this year) for anything you see here!
ITS ALL STASH!

Let's start with Halloween...

A stack of traditional applique blocks from a guild swap.
(Amy Bradley Pattern)

Chop Chop I gotta wonky up these characters !
Setting in black sashing and need to kwilt and bind.
Kwilting will be tricky due to some embellishments
added to various blocks.

2 charm packs from Moda and black 5" squares
Need to kwilt and bind.

Oh what wicked webs we weave for the backing!

 Christmas gifts??? Gotta check that
naughty or nice list for reciepients!

A wall hanging (Sidelights Pattern) to kwilt and bind

Purchased this interesting piece of fabric about 6 years ago
for a holiday purse. That never happened!
Now it will be in a happening backing.

I  Basic Gray "Blitzen" FQs were purchased 4 years ago.
Need to kwilt and bind.

Who says batiks won't work in a modern design?
Does Santa know I'm a rebel?

My Nested Churn Dash needs kwilting and binding.

Ready for some baby kwilts?
Such happy fabrics keep me smiling and sewing!

Polar Bears in beautiful Red-Turquoise and White
Need to kwilt and bind.

and the backing is pieced from my stash

Noteworthy Baby is ready to kwilt and bind

The backing is just as fun as the front!
(sorry for the wrinkles - trying to beat the rain)

Alexander Henry is one of my favorite designers.
Crayon Car Commute makes a great BOY kwilt
ready to kwilt and bind

Fun ric-rack inserted with the blocks for baby play time.

I refuse to buy backing...
I know I have stash that will work!
 SEE!

I sent the next top out for kwilting...I was exhausted after
a bunch of spring kwilting on the long arm!
Now called  "2twenty Thr3e" for the Moda fabric used.

Check out the schematic, Michelle Mayton did!

If you live in Ohio..and want great work with best prices!
Consider Michelle's long arm work for your next kwilt.
Just email me for info!
(not being paid for this plug - I like her work)

I I picked out this luscious orange binding
for the perfect POP of color and finish!

Will I get these all done?
The stack isn't so scary with my flowers

I have a couple more but can't list right now...someone may be reading this and they are gifts!

  2. I love the photo with your stack by the flowers!

I can't wait to see your Halloween quilts finished because they are so cute. Those wonky framed ones are THE BEST!d I made a Halloween quilt for every bed in my house one year and I still get them out every October.

GOOD LUCK on all your projects and congrats on not purchasing any fabric this year.

  8. Wow, You have shown so much you can do with just small bunches of fabric. I have a lot of these left over from other projects I can just add a basic grey, white or a black to and actually use them up. I never know what to do with all the extra's you have left over. Now I can get started! love the flowers too! mburnette912@bellsouth.net
